A Liam Pest Solutions branded service truck arriving at a residential home

About Liam Pest Solutions.

Liam Pest Solutions is a new residential pest control company serving all five NYC boroughs, Nassau’s North Shore, and Western Suffolk. We are building the company around quality, clear communication, reliable service, strong field standards, and modern tools without big-office bureaucracy.

The role.

You will own field operations end to end while working as the company’s lead technician in the field. You will run residential routes yourself, likely for the foreseeable future, until the route book supports hiring a second technician. Along the way, you will own service quality, customer experience on every stop, truck readiness, field compliance, and the standards that future technicians will follow. This is not a desk job or a franchise branch seat where someone else writes the playbook. You run the routes and the work.

What you will own day to day.

  • Deliver excellent residential pest service and set the standard for every stop.
  • Work a full field schedule and run residential routes across the NYC metro service area.
  • Inspect, treat, document, and communicate clearly with customers.
  • Protect service quality and retention as the book grows.
  • Keep the truck, tools, personal protective equipment, and chemicals professional and ready.
  • Own field compliance and safe product use.
  • Help hire, train, and coach the second technician when the route book is ready for that seat.
  • Work directly with the owner on the tools, routing, and customer feedback the field needs to win.

What success looks like.

  • Customers feel the difference in how we show up.
  • Routes are dense, clean, and on time.
  • Recurring accounts stay because the work is right.
  • You run the field and your own routes without the owner standing over every stop.
  • New technicians learn a clear standard, not a loose free-for-all.

Requirements.

  • Five or more years as a pest control technician or field lead.
  • Active New York pesticide credentials appropriate for residential work, including Category 7A and Category 7C, or a clear path and timeline to hold them before starting.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record suitable for a company vehicle.
  • A desire to run a field operation, not only work a route forever under someone else.
  • Strong ownership, reliability, and judgment under pressure.
  • Clear spoken English for homeowner and property-contact conversations.
  • Comfort working across Long Island and the five boroughs.
  • Ability to pass background and employment checks.
  • Freedom from a non-compete that blocks our service area, or willingness to discuss timing honestly during the interview.

Nice to have.

  • Prior lead technician, route manager, or branch supervisor experience.
  • Experience training technicians.
  • Residential recurring-book experience across general pest, rodents, ants, roaches, bed bugs, or outdoor programs.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish.
  • Comfort with simple software for scheduling, notes, and photos.

What we offer.

  • Competitive pay.
  • Performance bonus opportunity.
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits.
  • Retirement plan with employer match.
  • Company truck for work use.
  • Phone, uniform, personal protective equipment, and tools.
  • Real ownership of field operations in a company being built with intent.
  • Direct access to the owner and a short decision chain.
